First post. This is always the most awkward one to make. I’m going on a short 3 day road trip to upstate New York (from Mass) to visit 2 colleges, Skidmore and Vassar.  I’ll be gone until Tuesday evening. I will have Internet access some of the time, but I obviously won’t be online all the time. That’d be, well, dumb. Â
Hm…
Next post: Back…!

I agree about the first blog post. On one hand, first posts that introduce the blog seem cheezy, but first posts that get into things right away seem unfriendly. It’s a lose-lose situation. I think you did well, anyways.
And if I’m not mistaken, you’re using Paul Stamtiou’s speed-optimized theme, 281. It looks really good on this blog, specifically.
Also, a tip for comments: Activate Akismet, and turn off all other protection. Akismet hasn’t let a single spam comment in, even ones that fooled me, and nobody like entering all that info.
Well, thank you for the compliment. And yes, I am using Paul Stamtiou’s theme, which I really like.
I have Akismet activated on Nerd News Radio, but just did it here. Now taking off all the protection.
Thanks Colin!
My pleasure!
I look forward to reading more on your blog. If you post it on Pownce a few more times, I’ll get around to subscribing (too busy now). ^_^
